mPowerRatings is your gateway to Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) business in South Africa. We provide an online directory where empowerment companies can advertise their products and services and their BEE status, improving commerce and participation between empowered organisations.

A visitor to the website wishing to source products or services can search for a BEE enterprises geogaphically by name, or by product or service. Visitors are allowed free access to the website to search for a wide range of BEE information, or for BEE compliant suppliers.

Linked to the advertising, mPowerRatings provides an online empowerment rating service, a BEE scorecard which can be verified online by an independent service provider such as the rated entity's own auditor, on an ongoing basis. This self-assessment process allows even small companies to quickly and inexpensively evaluate their empowerment credentials in a dynamic way. Subscribers benefit immensely from this service in terms of not having to complete BEE questionnaires from their clients, as they are able to communicate their status via this website.

Subscribers are assisted to develop their scorecards with linked products such as the enterprise development initiative www.workerbee.co.za.

An Integrated Procurement Module is also available to assist subscribers with assessment of the BEE status of their suppliers, arguably the most difficult area of developing the scorecard.
